Bob Haro teams up with Cool Flo again

Posted on June 02 2015

Cool Flo are proud to announce our latest collaboration with Californian BMX Freestyle legend Bob Haro.

After the great success when we teamed up in 2014, Bob Haro and the team here at Cool Flo have got together once again, this time to produce a range of photographic limited edition tee designs for the Cool Flo Classics range.

These unique images from Bob Haro’s past have never been applied to tees before so these shirts will be an exclusive, must-have for our 80’s BMX and old school retro fans.

Along side the early 80’s BMX featured tees there’s a unique image of Bob in the chase scene on the E.T. film in 1982 (he was one of the riders in this global classic) on his Kuwahara BMX. Bob invited a friend along to the set whilst filming E.T. and this is one of the snaps that he took. With E.T. being such a magical film, Bob has always treasured this particular shot.

Bob Haro comments, “It’s great to be on board with the Carter Bros. from Cool Flo once again. Their energy and work ethic on the Cool Flo brand is contagious… they’re are a real pleasure to be working with.”

Bob Haro continues, “I can’t wait to get back to the UK and hang out with these guys again at the Cool Flo Cave”. With Bob Haro having a passion for cars as well as BMX, their’s a shared passion between him and the Carter Bros. history around the VW scene too.
On July the 4th Bob Haro will join Cool Flo at the launch event for the new Cool Flo Classics range alongside an old school fix of retro BMX’s from the late 70’s onwards. The limited edition tees will be available with some of Bob Haro’s original prints. If you fancy meeting the legend himself then make sure you visit this launch event.

There are plans for a huge old school BMX display and awards for Bob Haro’s favourite five rides. Bob Haro is always willing to sign your memorabilia too so why not pop along with that retro Haro Freestyler frame!
